Scope

This standard specifies the PCR method for the detection of horse and donkey (Equoidea)-derived components in animal-derived feedstuffs. The detection limit of this detection method is 0.1% (mass fraction). This standard is applicable to the qualitative detection of horse and donkey-derived components in animal-derived feed.
