Scope

This standard specifies the types and scope of energy measurement of energy-consuming units in the iron and steel industry, and the principles and basic requirements for the provision of energy measurement instruments. This standard is applicable to energy-consuming enterprises in the iron and steel industry engaged in mining, sintering, pelletizing, coking, ironmaking, steelmaking, continuous casting, steel rolling, as well as electricity and power related to the main production process.
