《GB/T 21430.1-2008宽带数字通信（高速率数字接入通信网络）用对绞或星绞多芯对称电缆-户外电缆　第1部分：总规范》由TC213（全国电线电缆标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国电器工业协会。
本标准适用于填充或非填充铜导体聚烯烃绝缘对绞或星绞对称通信电缆，专用于宽带数据通信局域网户外线路。本标准规定了材料性能的定义，材料的基本要求及电缆结构，并详述了试验方法与程序的细节。 本部分等同采用IEC 62255-1:2003《宽带数字通信（高速率数字接入通信网络）用对绞或星绞多芯电缆　户外电缆　第1部分：总规范》（英文版）。本部分与IEC 62255-1:2003的主要差异如下：
―――本部分第２章引用了采用国际标准的我国标准而非国际标准；
―――按照汉语习惯对一些编排格式进行了修改；
―――将一些适用于国际标准的表述改为适用于我国标准的表述；
―――为使我国宽带数字通信（高速率数字接入通信网络）用对绞或星绞多芯电缆的型号编制方法协调统一，本部分补充了“附录Ａ　宽带数字通信（高速率数字接入通信网络）用对绞或星绞多芯电缆的型号编制方法”作为资料性附录。

Scope

This part of GB/T 21430 is applicable to filled or unfilled copper conductor polyolefin insulated pair twisted or star twisted symmetrical communication cables, dedicated to broadband data communication LAN outdoor lines. This part specifies the definition of material properties, the basic requirements of materials and cable structure, and details the test methods and procedures. Cables can be distinguished according to the highest reference frequency of the bandwidth of 30MHz, 60MHz and 100MHz. The cables covered by this standard are divided into filled and unfilled according to the cable design. The typical size of the cable is 6 to 300 pairs. The incoming cables included in this part are divided into overhead and direct buried according to the installation method. The typical number of pairs of incoming cables is 2 to 6 pairs.
