Scope

This standard gives the insulation specifications for three-phase asynchronous motors powered by frequency converters, including terms and definitions, technical requirements and inspection rules. This standard applies to three-phase asynchronous motors with a rated voltage of 1140 V and below for variable frequency speed regulation.
