Scope

This standard specifies the determination methods of diethylene glycol in toothpaste by gas chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. This standard applies to the determination of diethylene glycol content in toothpaste. The method detection limit of this standard: gas chromatography is 0.05 g/kg, and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry is 0.03 g/kg.
