For users upgrading to a 160mm tube length system:
- 45mm parfocal distance objectives are preferred
- Check the thread type of the converter (RMS/M25 requires an adapter)
- Note that the infinity system requires a matching tube lens (fNTL=150-250mm)
Key Points for Infinity System Design
According to the requirements of Appendix C, the manufacturer should provide:
- The imaging distance of the tube lens lNTL
- The extreme value of the objective lens-tube lens distance d∞
- Optical matching warning mark (avoid mixing across brands)
