Scope

This standard specifies the methods for descaling and cleaning the surface of titanium and titanium alloys. This standard is applicable to the removal of general pollution, oxides, dirt and foreign matter in the form of surface pollution generated during the production, use and heat treatment of titanium and titanium alloy products.
