Scope

This standard specifies the spectrophotometric method for the determination of erucic acid and glucosinolates in rapeseed. This standard is applicable to the rapid detection of erucic acid and glucosinolate content in double-low rape seeds and commercial seeds. The minimum detection limit of this method: erucic acid is 0.5%, and thioxan is 10 μ mol/g.
