1 Scope

This part specifies a method for determining the ability of metallic wire of diameter (or characteristic dimension) 0.1mm to 14mm inclusive to undergo plastic deformation during simple torsion in one direction. Through negotiation between interested parties, simple torsion test of metallic wire products in other size may also be made reference to this part.
