《GB/T 2408-1996塑料燃烧性能试验方法 水平法和垂直法》由TC15(全国塑料标准化技术委员会)归口,TC15SC4(全国塑料标准化技术委员会通用方法和产品分会)执行,主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
本标准规定了在实验室内,对水平和垂直方向放置的试样用小火焰点火源点燃后的燃烧性能的试验方法。本标准适用于固体材料和按照GB 6343测定的表观密度不低于250kg/m3的泡沫材料,而不适用于接触火焰后没有点燃就强烈收缩材料的测定。本方法给出的试验结果可用于产品质量控制及材料预选,但不能用来评价实际使用条件下的着火危险性。
Scope
This standard specifies the test method for the combustion performance of samples placed in the horizontal and vertical directions in the laboratory after being ignited with a small flame ignition source. This standard is applicable to solid materials and foam materials whose apparent density is not less than 250 kg/m3 as determined in accordance with GB 6343, and is not applicable to the determination of materials that shrink strongly without being ignited after exposure to flames. The test results given by this method can be used for product quality control and material preselection, but cannot be used to evaluate the fire hazard under actual use conditions.
