《GB/T 2408-2008塑料 燃烧性能的测定 水平法和垂直法》由TC15(全国塑料标准化技术委员会)归口,TC15SC4(全国塑料标准化技术委员会通用方法和产品分会)执行,主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
本标准规定了塑料和非金属材料试样处于50W火焰条件下,水平或垂直方向燃烧性能的实验室测定方法。
本标准规定了线性燃烧速率和余焰/余辉时间以及试样的燃烧长度的测定。
本标准适用于GB/T 6343测定的表观密度不低于250kg/m3的固体以及泡沫材料,不适用于施加火焰后未点燃而产生卷缩的材料;对于薄而软的材料应使用ISO 9773。
本标准规定了燃烧性能等级,可用于质量保证或产品组成材料的预选。
本标准代替GB/T 2408-1996《塑料燃烧性能试验方法 水平法和垂直法》,与GB/T 2408-1996相比,主要技术内容改变如下:
a)标准名称由“《塑料燃烧性能试验方法 水平法和垂直法》”更改为“《塑料 燃烧性能的测定水平法和垂直法》”;
b)明确规定了试验火焰为标称功率50W的小火焰引燃源;
c)增加了目次、前言;
d)更改了部分定义,如余焰、余辉等;
e)提高了以计时装置的精确度要求;
f)对试样的尺寸有了更加明确的要求;
g)更改了水平法和垂直法的等级标志。


Scope

This standard specifies the laboratory test method for the horizontal or vertical combustion performance of plastic and non-metallic material samples under the condition of 50W flame. This standard specifies the determination of the linear burning rate and afterflame/afterglow time and the burning length of the specimen. This standard is applicable to solid and foam materials whose apparent density is not less than 250kg/m3 as determined in accordance with GB/T 6343. The material should use ISO 9773. This standard specifies the combustion performance class (see 8.4 and 9.4), which can be used for quality assurance or pre-selection of product constituent materials. Reliable results are obtained when the specimen thickness is equal to the minimum thickness at which the material is applied.
