Scope
This part of GB/T 24218 specifies the method for measuring the mass of the spilled liquid after a certain mass of test liquid (simulated urine) is absorbed by the nonwoven fabric sample. This section can be used to compare the overflow of different nonwoven samples, but it is not used to simulate the actual use conditions of the final product. This part specifies three different test methods: a) Method I: basic test method, applicable to hydrophilic nonwovens; b) Method II: repeated test method, using the same test parameters as in a); c) Method III: small angle test method, using a test bench with a different inclination from a), suitable for hydrophobic nonwovens.
