Scope

This standard specifies the measurement methods, measurement devices, sampling, sample preparation and calculation formulas for the transverse bending of hot bimetal sheets and strips. This standard applies to the measurement of the lateral bending of hot bimetals, and also applies to the precise measurement of the lateral bending of other materials. This standard does not involve all the safety elements. Before using this standard, it is the user's responsibility to establish an appropriate safety system.
