《GB/T 24634-2009产品几何技术规范（GPS） GPS 测量设备通用概念和要求》由TC240（全国产品几何技术规范标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准规定了简单的GPS测量设备(如千分尺、指示表、卡尺、平板、高度规、量块)特性的通用要求、术语和定义,这些规定也可用于较复杂的GPS测量设备。本标准是编制测量设备标准和描述测量设备设计特性、计量特性的基础,也同样是制定GPS测量设备标准发展和内容的指南。
本标准的目的在于使制造商/供应商与顾客/使用者之间的沟通更容易,对GPS测量设备提出更加适宜的技术要求。本标准意图是在测量过程(如测量设备校准和工件测量)的质量保证中,成为企业规定测量过程并选择测量设备相关特性时使用的工具。
本标准还包括与特定测量设备特性有关的常用术语。

Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements, terms and definitions for the characteristics of simple GPS measuring equipment (such as micrometers, indicators, calipers, plates, height gauges, gauge blocks), and these provisions can also be used for more complex GPS measuring equipment. This standard is the basis for formulating measurement equipment standards and describing the design characteristics and metrological characteristics of measurement equipment. It is also a guide for the development and content of GPS measurement equipment standards. The purpose of this standard is to make the communication between manufacturers/suppliers and customers/users easier, and to propose more appropriate technical requirements for GPS measuring equipment. This standard is intended to be a tool used by companies to specify the measurement process and select the relevant characteristics of the measurement equipment in the quality assurance of the measurement process (such as measurement equipment calibration and workpiece measurement). This standard also includes common terms related to the characteristics of specific measuring equipment.
