Scope
This standard specifies the terms, principles and methods for the calibration of metrological characteristics of contact (stylus) instruments for measuring the surface structure of workpieces by profilometry. This standard applies to the calibration of the metrological characteristics of the contact (stylus) instrument for measuring surface structure by the profilometry described in GB/T 6062-2002. This calibration is done with the aid of measurement standards. Appendix A gives the calibration of the instrument for measuring the parameters of the graphic method. Appendix B applies to the calibration of contact (stylus) instruments that simplify calculations, and such instruments do not comply with the definition in GB/T 6062-2002.
