Scope

This standard specifies the methods for the determination of spironolactone, benzoyl peroxide and retinoic acid in cosmetics. This standard applies to the determination of spironolactone, benzoyl peroxide and retinoic acid in skin care cosmetics. In this standard, the detection limit of spironolactone and benzoyl peroxide is 2.5 mg/kg, and the limit of quantification is 5 mg/kg; the detection limit of retinoic acid is 1 mg/kg, and the limit of quantification is 2.5 mg/kg.
