Scope
This standard specifies the determination method of trace chromium content in paper, cardboard and pulp. This standard applies to all kinds of paper, cardboard and pulp that can be digested dry or wet with nitric acid to detect the chromium content in the sample. The detection limit of the method depends on the instrument used. It is generally about 10 mg/kg by flame atomic absorption method, and it is generally about 50 μg/kg by graphite furnace atomic absorption method.
