Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, transportation and storage of oil lubrication and sealing devices for stern shafts. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of the power shafting stern tube oil lubricating and sealing device for which the distance between the centerline of the stern shaft and the water surface is not greater than 20m, and the linear velocity of the outer diameter of the stern shaft bushing is not greater than 7m/s.
