Scope

This standard specifies the performance parameters, insulation level, technical requirements, test items, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of high-end (600kV and 800kV) oil-immersed converter transformers for ±800kV DC transmission systems. And in Appendix A, some examples of relevant performance parameters of specific products are given. This standard applies to high-end single-phase oil-immersed converter transformers for ±800kV DC transmission systems using dual 12-pulse converters connected in series.
