Scope

Dublin Core Metadata Elements is a standard applied to resource description in different fields, and it is a set of metadata elements determined according to the common characteristics of various resources. This standard does not limit the types of resources described. This standard is only a collection of elements, usually applied to an application profile, the application profile should be based on specific project or application needs and policies to specify the use of these elements. But it is not the goal of this standard to define specific application specifications.
