The National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T 25104-2019 "Radio Frequency Method for Automatic Determination of Water Content in Crude Oil" was issued in 2019, replacing the original GB/T 25104-2010 standard. This standard was proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation and is managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Industrial Process Measurement, Control and Automation.

The determination of water content in crude oil is of great significance in the petroleum industry, and its results directly affect the quality assessment, trade settlement and production process optimization of crude oil.
