Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of the thickness of triacetate cellulose (TAC) film for liquid crystal display (LCD). This standard applies to the determination of TAC film thickness for liquid crystal displays by mechanical measurement and ray method. It is also suitable for the determination of the thickness of TAC film for ophthalmic lenses. Not applicable to the determination of the thickness of TAC film embossed lace.
