1 Scope

1.1 General

This standard specifies terms and symbols, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, description and technical documents for the fuel cell power systems with proton exchange membrane used for motor vehicles.

This standard is applicable to fuel cell power systems with proton exchange membrane used for motor vehicles (hereafter referred to as power systems).

1.2 System boundary

See Figure 1 for the system boundary. In the figure, the area squared by heavy solid line is power system, and input and output of the power system is indicated by arrows.
