《GB/T 256-1964汽油诱导期测定法》由TC280（全国石油产品和润滑剂标准化技术委员会）归口，TC280SC1（全国石油产品和润滑剂标准化技术委员会石油燃料和润滑剂分会）执行，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
汽油在压力7公斤/厘米2的氧气中以及在温度为100℃时未被氧化所经过的时间;称为诱导期.诱导期适用于评定汽油在贮存期间产生氧化和形成胶质的倾向.

Scope

The time during which gasoline is not oxidized in oxygen at a pressure of 7 kg/cm2 and at a temperature of 100°C is called the induction period. The induction period is suitable for assessing the propensity of gasoline to oxidize and form gums during storage.
