Scope

This part of GB/T 25758 specifies the measurement method for the focal spot size of industrial X-ray systems with a tube voltage up to 500kV. This section describes a method for direct mechanical scanning of focal points larger than 0.1 mm using a tightly collimated receiver. The image quality and resolution of X-ray images largely depend on the characteristics of the focus, especially the size and two-dimensional intensity distribution. For the characteristics of commercially available X-ray tube types (for example in advertising or trade), the maximum values given in Annex A should be considered first.
