Foreword and Development Background
This standard is formulated based on GB/T1.1-2009 and replaces the GB/T25832—2010 version. The main modifications include:
- Modify the representation method of steel grades and grades
- Optimize chemical composition and mechanical properties requirements
- Add hot-rolled pickled surface state
- Tighten the limit on the delivery length of steel strip defects

Grade representation method and classification
The grade consists of the yield strength letter, lower yield strength value and category code. For example: Q245GTD means enameled steel (GT) for chemical equipment with a yield strength of 245MPa, and a quality grade of D.
Actual Application Case
An environmental protection company selected Q310HT steel plate for water treatment tanks because it has high yield strength (310MPa) and good enamel properties, meeting the compression requirements.

Technical requirements and test methods
Mechanical properties include tensile, bending and impact tests, among which industrial enamel steel with a thickness of ≥12mm needs to undergo impact tests. Surface quality is divided into ordinary grade (FA) and higher grade (FB), which are suitable for different purposes.

It is recommended that companies choose appropriate grades according to specific application scenarios when purchasing, for example:
- RT type for daily enamel
- GT type for chemical equipment
- HT type for environmental protection projects
