Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements for accelerated corrosion tests of steel in atmospheric environments. This kind of test should be carried out under the condition of atmospheric corrosion outdoor exposure test station (field) in dry climate season or area. The purpose of this standard test is to: ——quickly obtain the corrosion resistance performance data of steel in the atmospheric environment; ——evaluate the correlation between the test results under the given test conditions and the natural atmospheric exposure environment.
