Scope
This standard specifies the technical conditions for refrigeration and refrigerated transportation of fresh root vegetables. This standard applies to long-term refrigeration and refrigerated transportation of stemless root vegetables in large-capacity storage. Not suitable for leafy root vegetables, which are for short-term storage only. This standard applies to radish, chrysanthemum burdock, carrot, horseradish, root parsley, root beet and similar root vegetable crops.
