Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificate and contract content of mercury-free zinc powder. This standard applies to mercury-free zinc powder products that use zinc as raw material, add alloy elements such as In, Bi, Al, and Ca, and are made by spraying, chemical replacement, electrolytic co-deposition, and vacuum evaporation-condensation methods. This product is mainly used in the manufacture of mercury-free alkaline zinc-manganese dioxide batteries.
