Scope

This part of the standard specifies the test methods for assessing the safety requirements of folding reclining beds for indoor use. This section applies to products that have been assembled and are ready for use. This part is to simulate the strength test of the various parts of the foldable bed under the load condition when simulating normal use and foreseeable customary misuse. This part aims to evaluate the performance of the product, and does not limit the material, shape structure and processing technology. The test results are only valid for the tested samples. When these test results are intended to be used for other similar products, the test samples should be representative of this type of product. For the specimen whose sample structure does not meet the test procedure, the test shall be carried out as far as possible according to the prescribed procedure, and the difference from the prescribed test procedure shall be recorded.
