Scope
This standard specifies the relevant requirements of the performance classification system of safety signs, and classifies the performance of safety signs according to the expected use environment, substrate, photometric properties, lighting methods, installation methods and surface characteristics of safety signs. The relevant performance indicators and test methods specified in this standard are to accurately describe various performances related to durability and expected service life when delivering products to purchasers. This standard does not apply to the performance of power supplies, power supply components and electric components for safety signs. This standard also does not apply to the performance of lighting components, but specifies the photometric properties of certain categories of safety signs.
