Scope

This part of GB/T 26515 gives general guidelines for determining the gas chromatographic images of essential oils by capillary column gas chromatography. Gas chromatographic images, like physicochemical properties, are one of the parameters for evaluating the quality of essential oils. It was established when the essential oil standard was developed. The gas chromatographic image does not determine the true concentration of the essential oil components, but only an assessment of the relative proportions of the components.
