Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, grades, order information, production methods, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks and quality certificates, rust prevention, packaging, storage and transportation of austenitic iron castings. This standard applies to castings cast in sand molds or molds with comparable thermal conductivity to sand molds. Castings produced by other casting methods can also be used as a reference.
