Key technological innovations

1. Composite material system

The standard divides wear-resistant iron-based composite castings into:

  • Inlaid cast alloy type: Composite of cemented carbide block/wear-resistant white cast iron block and matrix
  • Two-liquid casting type: Bimetallic/trimetallic layered composite structure
  • Cast-infiltrated alloy type: Particle-reinforced composite material
  • Bonded composite type: Special castings with non-metallurgical bonding

2. Hardness index system

Implementation and application suggestions

1. Selection Guide

Working Condition TypeRecommended GradeTypical Application
High Stress WearZFFeM-XZ-1Mining Crusher Jaw Plate
Corrosion WearZFFeM-SY-2Chemical Pump Flow Parts
Impact WearZFFeM-ZJZSCement Vertical Mill Roller

2. Key Points of Quality Control

  1. Interface inspection: Use electron probe to analyze the diffusion of elements at the composite interface
  2. Hardness test: Avoid sampling in the heat-affected zone (>2mm from the surface)
  3. Defect control: For cast-infiltration castings, focus on testing the porosity (GB/T 39428)

3. Notes on Standard Implementation

  • The new grade ZFFeM-ZJ is suitable for non-welding repair scenarios
  • Flame cutting is prohibited for casting cleaning (Mandatory requirement of Article 5.3)
  • Weight tolerance and dimensional tolerance need to be controlled in a coordinated manner (Articles 6.7-6.8)
