Introduction
Core Changes of the Standard Revision
| Revision Items | 2011 Edition | 2025 Edition | Technical Significance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Classification System | 3 Categories | 4 Categories and 8 Grades | Newly Added Casting Infiltration and Inlay Casting Process |
| Hardness Index | Primarily HRC | HRC/HRA/HV Three Systems | Adaptable to Different Hardening Materials |
| Interface requirements | Metallurgical bonding | Distinguishing between metallurgical and non-metallurgical bonding | Expanding applications for special working conditions |
Key technological innovations
1. Composite material system
The standard divides wear-resistant iron-based composite castings into:
- Inlaid cast alloy type: Composite of cemented carbide block/wear-resistant white cast iron block and matrix
- Two-liquid casting type: Bimetallic/trimetallic layered composite structure
- Cast-infiltrated alloy type: Particle-reinforced composite material
- Bonded composite type: Special castings with non-metallurgical bonding
2. Hardness index system
Implementation and application suggestions
1. Selection Guide
| Working Condition Type | Recommended Grade | Typical Application |
|---|---|---|
| High Stress Wear | ZFFeM-XZ-1 | Mining Crusher Jaw Plate |
| Corrosion Wear | ZFFeM-SY-2 | Chemical Pump Flow Parts |
| Impact Wear | ZFFeM-ZJZS | Cement Vertical Mill Roller |
2. Key Points of Quality Control
- Interface inspection: Use electron probe to analyze the diffusion of elements at the composite interface
- Hardness test: Avoid sampling in the heat-affected zone (>2mm from the surface)
- Defect control: For cast-infiltration castings, focus on testing the porosity (GB/T 39428)
3. Notes on Standard Implementation
- The new grade ZFFeM-ZJ is suitable for non-welding repair scenarios
- Flame cutting is prohibited for casting cleaning (Mandatory requirement of Article 5.3)
- Weight tolerance and dimensional tolerance need to be controlled in a coordinated manner (Articles 6.7-6.8)
