Scope

This standard stipulates the basic principles of physical property analysis of oil and gas reservoir fluids, the calibration methods of main instruments and meters used, the inspection of oil and gas samples, the configuration, sample transfer, analysis and calculation methods of formation fluids. This standard applies to the determination of the physical properties of oil and gas reservoir fluids. Both plunger and piston PVT instruments can be used, and other types of PVT instruments can be implemented by reference.
