Scope
This standard provides a framework for pest risk analysis, describes the process of pest risk analysis, and divides the three stages of pest risk analysis - initiation, risk assessment and risk management. This standard focuses on the initial stage, and proposes common requirements for uncertainty, information collection, documentation, risk information exchange and consistency among the three stages of pest risk analysis. This standard applies to pest risk analysis of plants and plant products within the scope of the International Plant Protection Convention.
