Scope
This standard applies to AC isolation circuit breakers with a rated voltage of 72.5 kV and above designed to be installed indoors or outdoors and operating in a system with a frequency of 50 Hz. This standard confirms the applicable parts of the requirements in GB/T 11022, GB 1984 and GB 1985, and also gives additional requirements specific to this type of device. This standard covers devices meeting the requirements for both circuit breakers and disconnectors in the open position. This standard describes in detail the requirements for the interaction of the individual functions of disconnecting circuit-breakers, clarifying the differences between these requirements and the individual requirements for discrete circuit-breakers and disconnectors.
