Scope

Warning—The strong acids and alkalis used in this standard are corrosive, so care should be taken when using them. When splashed on the body, rinse with plenty of water, avoid inhalation or contact with skin. This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage and safety requirements for water treatment agent polyaminopolyether methylene phosphonic acid (PAPEMP). This standard applies to polyaminopolyether-based methylenephosphonic acid (PAPEMP) products synthesized from amino-terminated polyether, phosphorous acid or phosphorus trichloride, formaldehyde, etc. as raw materials. This product is mainly used as scale and corrosion inhibitor in industrial water treatment and as peroxide stabilizer and metal chelating agent in printing and dyeing industry.
