Scope
This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of marine ultra-low temperature stainless steel forged socket welding joints. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of marine stainless steel forged socket welded joints with a design pressure not greater than 21MPa and an operating temperature not lower than -163°C. The joints of the stainless steel ultra-low temperature piping system at the shore station can also be used as reference.
