Scope

This standard specifies the test method for detecting the hydrocarbon dew point of pipeline natural gas by using the cooling mirror visual method. This standard is applicable to processed single-phase pipeline natural gas, not to natural gas containing liquid phase hydrocarbons. This standard does not address all safety issues related to its application. Before using this standard, it is the user's responsibility to develop appropriate safety and protection measures, and to define the scope of application.
