Scope

WARNING: Personnel using this standard should have practical experience in formal laboratory work. This standard does not address all possible safety issues. It is the user's responsibility to take appropriate safety and health measures and ensure compliance with the conditions stipulated in the relevant national laws and regulations. This standard specifies the method for the determination of 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (see Appendix A) in textiles using a gas chromatograph equipped with a mass selective detector (GC/MSD). This standard applies to all types of textiles.
