Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of small amounts of stable anionic actives in detergents after hydrolysis of anionic actives in the presence of excess acid reflux. This standard is applicable to the determination of cyclic sulfonates in alkylphenol ether sulfates, a small amount of sulfonates in fatty alcohol ether sulfates and sulfated fatty alcohols.
