Scope

This standard specifies the determination of critical micelle concentration of surfactants. The counterion activity measurement method is applicable to the determination of critical micelle concentration of cationic surfactants. The ring surface tension method is applicable to the determination of critical micelle concentration of anionic and nonionic surfactants.
