Scope

This standard specifies requirements for general purpose steam turbine design, materials, installation, inspection, testing, and preparation for shipment. This standard also covers lubricating oil systems, instrumentation, control systems and auxiliary equipment. This standard applies to general purpose steam turbines in the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries. This standard does not apply to special-purpose steam turbines in petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries. Special-purpose steam turbines adopt GB/T 28574.
