Scope

This standard specifies the determination methods of phthalates in cosmetics by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography (GC). This standard applies to the determination of phthalates in cosmetics, among which gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and high performance liquid chromatography are applicable to the determination of 22 phthalates in cosmetics; gas chromatography is applicable to Determination of 18 phthalates in cosmetics (except nail polish and lipstick).
