Scope

This part of GB/T 29256 specifies the method for determining the shrinkage of yarns in fabrics. This standard applies to most woven fabrics, and does not apply to fabrics where curls in yarns cannot be completely eliminated under a certain straightening tension, and yarns are damaged during weaving, finishing and analysis by this method.
