Scope

Warning: The strong acid and strong alkali used in this standard are corrosive, and should avoid inhalation or contact with skin when using. If it splashes on the body, wash it with plenty of water immediately, and seek medical attention immediately if it is serious. Scope: This standard specifies the determination of chloride in boiler water and cooling water, ammonium thiocyanate titration method. This standard applies to the determination of chloride content in natural water, boiler water and circulating cooling water with a chloride content of 5 mg/L to 100 mg/L. Water samples with a chloride content greater than 100 mg/L should be diluted before determination.
