Scope

This standard specifies the general guidelines, instructive methods and implementation suggestions for organizations to implement the requirements of energy management systems, aiming to enable organizations to establish, implement, maintain and improve energy management systems scientifically and effectively to ensure the realization of their energy performance goals . This standard is applicable to organizations of all sizes, types, locations and levels of maturity.
