《GB/T 2999-2002耐火材料颗粒体积密度试验方法》由TC193（全国耐火材料标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准规定了测定粒度大于2.0mm的颗粒状耐火材料体积密度的两种方法：――方法1：称量法；――方法2：滴定管法。方法1用作仲裁法。根据被测材料的性质，两种方法可以得出不同的结果。因此，报告体积密度值时应说明所用的方法或在有争议时应该使用的方法。对于试样的体积测定，选样和制样，计算体积密度以及提出的试验报告都应采用同一种方法。

Scope

This standard specifies two methods for measuring the bulk density of granular refractories with a particle size greater than 2.0mm: ——Method 1: weighing method; ——Method 2: Burette method. Method 1 is used as the arbitration method. Depending on the nature of the material being tested, the two methods can yield different results. Therefore, reporting of bulk density values should state the method used or should be used in case of dispute. For the volume determination of the sample, the sample selection and sample preparation, the calculation of the bulk density and the test report shall all adopt the same method.
