Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, technical requirements, tests and operating systems of high blast temperature top-fired hot blast stoves for blast furnaces. This standard is applicable to top-fired hot blast stoves newly built, expanded or remodeled for ironmaking blast furnaces in iron and steel enterprises.
